
The Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to invite you to participate in the 2025 Trick-or-Treat Trail
This event has become a beloved community tradition, drawing more than 1,200 Trick-or-Treaters each year.
The Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce’s Trick-or-Treat Trail, sponsored by MAECO of Oregon and Sandy’s Helping Hands, will return Saturday, October 25th.
The trail will run through Downtown Sandy from 2-4pm.
We are bringing back the costume contest! Thank you MAECO of Oregon and The Green Grouch.
Look for the door sign at local business to know who is participating.

🎃 Trick-or-Treat Trail Costume Contest 🎃
- Stop by the MAECO of Oregon Booth in the field next to the Sandy Community Action Center.
- Say “Cheese!” – MAECO of Oregon or The Green Gouch will snap your photo and submit it for you.
- By entering, you’re giving us permission to share the photo on the Sandy Area Chamber Facebook page and The official Trick-or-Treat Trail page for voting.
- Come solo or gather your ghouls – entries can be individuals or groups!

Trick or Treat Trail 2025 for Business
Participation in this event is simple:
- Hand out candy to Trick-or-Treaters during the event
- Display event poster, provided by the Chamber.
- Register your business by October 17th
- (Requests received after October 17th will not be in the participation business listing)
Last year’s Trick-or-Treat Trail was a huge success. This year we will doing our traditional trail through downtown Sandy. We recommend that you plan for 1,200 or more Trick-or-Treaters.
On the day of the event, Trick-or-Treaters are invited to stop by any business with a Trail Sign on their window or door for trick-or-treating.
Here are some suggestions and ideas to enhance the event in your business:
- If possible, set up a table outside your business to help with the flow
- Decorate your business and windows in a Halloween/Harvest theme
- Invite your employees to dress up in costume on the day of the event
- Pass out small promotional products or coupons along with the candy
- Arrange displays to accommodate the number of participants and increase visibility to parents
