Baker & Cafe Supporter • Part-Time
The Baker is responsible for producing high-quality baked goods including breads, cookies, muffins, & pastries in preparation for the AntFarm Café and Bakery’s busiest days including Friday farmers markets. This hybrid role also includes kitchen support for food preparation & occasional front-of-house duties as a barista. The Baker plays a vital role in ensuring excellence in food, presentation, and customer service while embodying AntFarm’s mission and values. Flexibility in scheduling needed.
$17-22/hour depending on experience. 15-25 hours per week depending on café needs.
Cafe Assistant Manager • Full-Time
Assistant Manager supports operations of AntFarm Café & Bakery, collaborating closely with both the Café & Bakery Manager & the Café team to ensure high-quality service, safe food handling, & a positive customer experience. Provides hands-on leadership in both front-of-house & back-of-house activities, including inventory, training, safety, & youth internship support. Contributes to cultural arts programming, event coordination, community engagement, & housing navigation initiatives.
$24/hour salaried at 40 hours per week ($49,920 annually); schedule is flexible and will be 4-5 days per week to include Saturdays and Sundays.
Life Skills Coach • Full-Time
The Life Skills Coach plays a vital role in supporting youth and adults experiencing homelessness, helping them build stability, confidence, and essential life skills. This position provides mentorship, encouragement, and guidance in a safe and welcoming environment. By fostering independence and connection, the Coach empowers individuals to navigate daily challenges, develop important life skills, and work toward long-term housing and personal goals. $18/hour.
Fuels Reduction Crew Members • Full-Time & Part-Time
Seeking 2 crew members (ages 18-24 per grant) for Community Wildfire Defense Program based in Sandy, Oregon. Crew will perform fuels reduction activities on residential properties in east Clackamas County. Work involves using hand tools, chainsaws, and other equipment to remove dead and down woody debris, shrubs, and small trees from around homes to increase their resilience to wildfire. Work up to 30 hours/week & up to 10 hours/day now through June; funding may extend to Fall 2025 or longer.
The starting pay rate is $15 for a two- to three-week period of classroom and outdoor training classes. Once an employee has successfully completed the training, the pay rate starts at $18 per hour.
