What You’ll Learn
Learn how to incorporate social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter & YouTube to promote your business and attract new customers. The instructor will discuss the Key elements of successful social media marketing. This seminar presented in partnership with Alphabetix – Web Design. Only Better. Laura Allen from Alphabetix will be teaching the class.

Monthly Luncheon – Social Media and the Digital Age
Like it or not, the world today is becoming more and more dependent on the internet. More and more studies indicate that a lot of people make important decisions researching them first online.
Research also indicates that people depend on other people’s experiences to make decisions on products andservices. With the advent of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other such social media, information travels around the world much faster.
Social media can give you credibility to your online visibility (web presence), a better opportunity of being found through search, a premium avenue to provide customer service, and a cheap / effective marketing tool that will bring results if used consistently and correctly.
If you are hesitant to jump on to the internet and social media bandwagon, come find out why you should, or else you might find yourself alone on sidelines as potential customers pass you by on their way to your competitors.

You’ve probably noticed that the website has been newly revised and updated. We are currently trying to fill in some missing information on our Member Directory. Check your listing for accuracy and fill out the form on the right hand side of the page for any updates. You can also email us a logo that we can add to your profile.
Keyword Search
We recommend searching for your business with keywords such as those that you would use to find your business in Google. If you’re not coming up under those search terms, try including them in your profile description.
Social Media
Make sure to include your Facebook and Twitter user ID. This is an important tool to optimize the way potential customers can contact you.
Good Advertising!
Remember, this may be the first contact a potential customer has with you … include a description of your business and what you offer. For a sample, check out the member listing for Alphabetix. They have done a great job harnessing the potential of this advertising tool.
